Come and restore your senses in the spacious bedrooms after exploring shops and restaurants or playing a round of golf on one of the world-renowned golf courses in the vicinity. Enjoy a hearty breakfast the following morning before heading off to the beach at Gordon’s Bay, Strand or Hermanus, or for a cultural experience in Paarl, Franschhoek or Stellenbosch, visiting wine cellars, monuments, museums or historic homesteads.

Accommodation

Presidential Suite (1)

A 140 sqm large suite on two floors equipped with the finest art deco furniture. The downstairs lounge area has a fireplace, fully stocked bar fridge, tea and coffee tray, hairdryer, antique safe, Satelite TV and DVD player with a CD collection and a separate dining area. The upstairs bedroom has a four poster king size bed, a smaller lounge area, airconditioning and a luxurious bathroom with a shower and bath.

Honeymoon Suite (1)

Romatic suite in the historic Manor House furnished with the finest antiques. The suite consists of a large en suite bedroom with a four poster queen size bed and a separate lounge area with a DVD unit and CD collection, antique safe, tea and coffee tray, hairdryer and airconditioning.

Cottage (2)

The cottages are ideal for families and consist of an airconditioned master bedroom with an

en-suite bathroom, a separate lounge area with a double sized sleeper couch and a small kitchenette (not fully self catering). The cottages also comprise of an antique safe, tea and coffee tray, hairdryer and DVD unit with CD collection. Each cottage has a private terrace/garden.

Luxury Room (3)

A contemporary large suite with a king size bed and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with shower only. DVD unit and CD collection, antique safe, tea and coffee tray, hairdryer and airconditioning.

Standard Room (4)

Large en-suite bedroom with either a queen size bed or twin beds. All the standard rooms have a CD player with a CD collection, tea and coffee tray, hairdryer, antique safe and either airconditioning or a ceiling fan.

Junior Room (2)

Small en-suite bedroom with a double bed. The junior rooms have a CD player with a CD collection, tea and coffee tray, hairdryer, safe and a ceiling fan and are ideal for a single person.

Directions to Palmiet Valley Estate

Palmiet is an easy 35-minute drive along highways from Cape Town, or slightly less from the international airport. Cape Town airport has daily direct flights from London, Amsterdam and other major hubs. These flights take 11-13 hours, but there's no jetlag!

Airport transfers can be arranged with the hotel (in one of the limos if requested).

Terms & Conditions for Palmiet Valley Estate

ROOM RATES ARE:                                    

• per room, per night including VAT at the current rate of 14% and full English breakfast(breakfast is non-refundable)       

• subject to change without prior notice                                              
• quoted in South African Rand (ZAR)  

SINGLE OCCUPANCY

Any room type can be booked in single accommodation and is eligible for 15% discount off the room rate.

CHILD POLICY                                     

Children up to three years who can sleep in a cot stay free in their parents room. For

children between four and twelve years we can prepare a sleeper couch in the family

cottage for R495.00 per child per night, including breakfast. The family cottages can accommodate a maximum of two adults and two children. If children are staying in their own bedroom, the full rate applies.

THIRD PERSON POLICY

A third person can only be accommodated on a sleeper couch in one of our family cottages,

at a surcharge of R495.00 per person and night (including breakfast). A family cottage can

accommodate a maximum of three adults.

ARRIVAL/ DEPARTURE

Check in time is from 14h00, and check out time by 11h00

CANCELLATIONS

Within 30 days prior to arrival we charge 25%, within 14 days 50% and within 7 days or

"No Show" 100 % of the total accommodation amount. In the event of a premature departure,

we may charge for the full extent of stay that was booked and confirmed. Cancellations are deemed

valid only if received in writing. Receipt of deposit or credit card number assumes unconditional

agreement of these terms.

GROUP CANCELLATIONS (from 6 rooms):  within 90 days prior arrival we charge 25%, within 60 days 50 % and within 30 days or "No Show" 100 % of the total accommodation amount.
